1. In many cases texts and other "language" material in an FM aren't changed (at least as I notice). Otherwise, I think, the author should connect with translators again and inform them about the changes.

I think it's more the translator's work. At least on DarkFate we test any Russian version without author's help.

IMHO, pressure of fans shouldn't influence an author. Look at Gaetane for example - she tests The Black Frog at her rate despite the fans wait for the campaign to be released for months.
The author's work shouldn't be hurried or slowed down by such "external factors".

I agree. However, even considering the fact I suggested this kind of working, I think it will be changed in some way. Practice will give us tips - how to do it better.
Maybe the most simple way will be to observe the FM news and to connect with authors via PMs.
I just want an author and a translator to cooperate but not to wait for each other.
