I have finally finished my second Thief 2 mission called "Heartcliff Islands" and am now in need of a team of testers. The mission is complete, except custom voices, which have been temporarily replaced with synthetic ones. I have spent almost a month of my own playtesting, but I still call this an alpha, not only because of the missing, custom voices, but also because I have provided a way to enable/disable all AIs for easier testing.
I'm looking for maybe four or five testers at this point (I will want to bring in new blood later for pre-release testing). If at least one of you has DromEd experience that's a plus. Also having someone with a lower spec machine could be helpful (I don't think there should be a problem, but you never know until you test it). Someone with English proofreading skills are also a plus, since I am not of native tongue.
The mission to be tested takes place on two far off islands and can be described as city-like with several different areas to visit and break into. It's quite involved with multiple endings, non-linearity (almost of a sandboxy quality), special effects and it will probably take some time to test everything. Expected timeframe to get everything ready for release is three weeks, so don't be surprised if testing gets a little intense. There are a number of puzzles, of which one is mandatory, but you get more clues on lower difficulties (and pretty much none on Expert) - but, still, if you really dislike puzzles, this may not be your type of FM to test.
I have used mainly stock resources or custom ones emulating the look of the stock resources.
This mission is English only and I'm sorry to say that I will most likely not have time to work on any translations.
